Barcelona CREI Macroeconomics Summer School 2024
The current edition of the Barcelona CREI Macroeconomics Summer School will take place at the campus of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) from June 25 to July 5, 2024.
The Barcelona CREI Macroeconomics Summer School is jointly organized by the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) and the Center for Research in International Economics (CREI), a research institute sponsored by the Generalitat de Catalunya and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), in fulfilment of its aim to promote the dissemination of research in macroeconomics and related areas.
The Barcelona CREI Macroeconomics Summer School offers an overview of the current state of research in key areas of macroeconomics.
The courses are taught by leading experts in their fields. They cover recent developments in different areas of macroeconomics, including asset bubbles, sovereign risk, numerical methods for fiscal and monetary policy analysis, labor markets and misallocation, the data economy and econometrics for macroeconomic policymaking.
During the Summer School, faculty are available for discussion of participants’ research ideas, as well as the lectures’ contents.
