CREi-IPEG Workshop on Political Economy

This workshop, jointly organized by the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREi) and the Institute of Political Economy and Governance (IPEG), aims to bring together scholars studying the causes and effects of political institutions, with a particular emphasis on empirical analysis.
This workshop is a continuation of the two workshops on Political Institutions and on the Economic Analysis of Electoral Politics, organized in 2013-2019 within the Barcelona GSE Summer Forum. Earlier editions counted with the participation of prominent scholars from all around the world, including Fernanda Brollo (IMF), Robin Burgess (LSE), Katherine Casey (Stanford), Allan Drazen (Maryland), Oeindrila Dube (Chicago), Patricia Funk (USI), Matthew Gentzkow (Stanford), Gene Grossman (Princeton), Benjamin Olken (MIT), Rohini Pande (Harvard), Imran Rasul (UCL), Mark Rosenzweig (Yale), Kenneth Scheve (Stanford) and James Snyder (Harvard), among others.
