BSE Summer Forum: Workshop on “Networks and Firm Heterogeneity in Macro and Trade”

Organized by Mishel Ghassibe (CREI, UPF, and BSE) and Alessandro Ferrari (UPF, CREI. and BSE).

This workshop focuses on the implications of production networks, supply chains and firm heterogeneity for key questions in macroeconomics and international trade. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the role of networks and firm heterogeneity in creating aggregate fluctuations, monetary and fiscal policies in disaggregated production economies, network linkages as a source of economic growth, supply chain formation and disruption, global value chains and their role in international trade. Both theoretical and empirical papers are of interest.
