This workshop, jointly organized by the Barcelona GSE, the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI) and the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, aims to discuss recent theoretical and empirical advances in the study of international capital flows.
We welcome papers on International Economics, Macroeconomics and Finance related to the following topics:
- Financial crises and capital flows
- Sovereign debt crises
- Capital flows, risk taking and financial fragility
- Monetary policy and capital flows
- Effects of capital controls
- Credit markets and economic activity in the open economy
- Interaction of public and private capital flows
